Henan Engineering Research Center for Typical Smart Factory Application Scenarios
The Henan Engineering Research Center for Typical Smart Factory Application Scenarios was officially approved for construction by the Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission in May 2024.
The Center is led by Zhengzhou Shengda University in partnership with SINOMACH Industrial Internet Research Institute Co., Ltd..



1.Objectives
The Center aims to:
Promote the regional transformation and upgrading of intelligent manufacturing.
Enhance regional industrial competitiveness and sustainable development.
Accelerate the intelligent, high-end, and green transformation of manufacturing industries through advanced information technologies.
Support high-quality economic development in Henan Province.
Promote deep integration among industry, academia, research institutions, and end users.
Accelerate technology transfer and commercialization.
2.Research Focus
The Center concentrates on the analysis, design, development, and operation of typical smart factory scenarios.
By integrating university resources with regional manufacturing enterprises and research institutes and combining next-generation information technologies with advanced manufacturing technologies, the Center conducts research in:
Smart factory construction
Production process management
Data governance
Green manufacturing and environmental management
Key enabling technologies for intelligent manufacturing
The Center also supports technology innovation, technology transfer, resource sharing, industrial collaboration, and the cultivation of application-oriented professionals.

Computer Application Technology
1.Overview
Computer Application Technology was approved as a Henan Provincial Ninth Key Discipline in 2018.
Its development has been supported primarily by the undergraduate programs in:

Software Engineering
The Software Engineering discipline was approved as a Henan Provincial New-Round Key Discipline by the Henan Provincial Department of Education in July 2023.
